As we wrap up the series on the ministry of the Holy Spirit, praying in the Spirit is an amazing subject. The Spirit intercedes on our behalf in Rom 8.26.
We are close to the world, we are close to our self (flesh & old sin nature), this causes us to grieve and groan. But when God speaks to us, we begin (like Sarah) to laugh. Maturity is taking my position as one who is close to God, and by the Spirit, to be used as an instrument in intercession. Praying in the Spirit we experience a Holy Transcendent God and move from being problem centered to God centered [ 41:24 ]. Jesus Christ advocates for us, and the Spirit advocates for us. The Lord has positioned in this world to bridge the gap between what we see and what He says, through prayer.
